TEKsystems in Folsom, CA is seeking a contract Release Management coordinator to align releases, projects, and system changes across multiple teams. You will help plan, track, and communicate readiness and dependencies to ensure smooth deployments.
The role requires strong collaboration, attention to detail, and the ability to partner with internal and external teams to deliver complex releases on time and within scope.
Primary Purpose
Under the direction of the Manager, this role supports Release Management activities by coordinating releases, projects, system changes, and implementation efforts across multiple teams and stakeholders. The contractor helps ensure that release processes are effectively planned, communicated, tracked, and executed to support organizational objectives, customer expectations, and operational readiness. This role partners with internal and external teams to manage dependencies, schedules, testing activities, and release deliverables across complex, cross-functional initiatives.
The function itself is not new, but the client is expanding release management beyond the PMO to support all technology groups. The goal is to create more consistency, governance, and maturity across release processes throughout the organization. This person will be assisting with that effort and less on true coordination tasks.

This is a Contract position based out of Folsom, CA.
The pay range for this position is $46.00 - $57.00/hr.
Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
