Zusammenfassung

H&MV Engineering, a global high-voltage engineering leader, seeks a Regional Engineering Manager to oversee engineering activities across the region. You will ensure safety, programme delivery, budget adherence and high technical standards while meeting client expectations.

You'll lead cross-functional teams with Operations, Commercial, Procurement, Tendering and Project Delivery, shaping resource planning, engineering performance and continuous improvement across multiple projects.

Qualifikationen

• Degree or equivalent qualification in Electrical Engineering or related discipline.
• Significant experience delivering HV EPC, Data Centre, Utility or Renewable Energy projects.
• Proven leadership experience managing multidisciplinary engineering teams across multiple projects.
• Strong understanding of the EPC project lifecycle: design, procurement, construction, commissioning.

About the Role:

As the Regional Engineering Manager, you will be responsible for the overall management and successful delivery of all engineering activities within the assigned region. You will ensure engineering is delivered safely, on programme, within budget, and to the highest technical standards while meeting client expectations and H&MV Engineering's operational objectives.

Working closely with Operations, Commercial, Procurement, Tendering and Project Delivery teams, you will provide leadership across multiple projects, ensuring effective resource planning, engineering performance, programme management, and the continued development of a high-performing engineering team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the engineering function across the regional project portfolio, ensuring engineering is delivered safely, on programme, within budget, and to H&MV standards.
• Drive engineering performance across multiple concurrent EPC projects from tender through to commissioning and project close-out.
• Oversee engineering planning, resource allocation and workload management to meet project and business objectives.
• Work closely with Operations, Commercial, Procurement, Tendering, Project Delivery and Commissioning teams to ensure successful project delivery.
• Support regional tendering activities by reviewing engineering scope, developing resource plans, identifying project risks, and contributing to winning strategies.
• Lead regional cross-functional engineering meetings to ensure alignment between Engineering, Commercial, Operations, Procurement and Project Delivery teams.
• Monitor engineering budgets, programme performance and resource forecasts, identifying risks and implementing mitigation strategies.
• Represent the engineering function in client meetings, technical workshops and project reviews, building strong relationships with clients, consultants and key stakeholders.
• Lead, support and develop Engineering Managers, Team Leads, Lead Electrical Engineers and Electrical Engineers across the region.
• Support recruitment, succession planning and team development across the region.
• Drive engineering standardisation, continuous improvement and the adoption of Digital Delivery, BIM and engineering innovation.
• Ensure compliance with H&MV procedures, HSEQ requirements and industry

Key Requirements:

• Degree or equivalent qualification in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.
• Significant experience delivering HV EPC, Data Centre, Utility or Renewable Energy projects.
• Proven leadership experience managing multidisciplinary engineering teams across multiple projects.
• Strong understanding of the EPC project lifecycle, including design, procurement, construction and commissioning.
• Strong programme management and engineering planning experience.
• Excellent commercial awareness with experience managing engineering budgets and resource planning.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management and client-facing skills.
• Ability to lead teams across multiple locations and engineering hubs.
