At GDIT, people are our differentiator. We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly motivated IT INFRASTRUCTURE Engineer in Support of AFRICOM in Stuttgart Germany to join our dynamic team. Successful candidates must have an active Secret Clearance and must be able to obtain TS/SCI clearance.
The Information Technology Infrastructure SME will be responsible for the design, implementation, and management of telecommunications distribution systems. This role requires a deep understanding of structured cabling systems, network infrastructure, and telecommunications standards. The ideal candidate will hold a Registered Communications Distribution Designer (RCDD) certification and have extensive experience in ICT design and project management.
Design and implement telecommunications distribution systems, including structured cabling and network infrastructure.
Conduct site surveys to assess current infrastructure and recommend improvements.
Develop detailed project plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.
Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices, including BICSI guidelines.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate telecommunications systems with other IT infrastructure.
Manage vendor relationships and oversee the installation and maintenance of telecommunications equipment.
Provide technical support and training to IT staff and end-users.
Maintain documentation of all telecommunications systems and infrastructure.
Candidate is required to perform other additional duties and assignments in support the Contract.
Candidate is required to maintain IT Certification up to date.

The likely salary range for this position is $81,349 - $97,750. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
Total compensation for international positions varies by tax, social security, and immigration statuses, as well as location. Generally, an international assignment may include allowances, premium uplifts, and/or relocation or transportation benefits, above base salary range noted.
