Samaritan Hospital - Macon, MO is seeking a PRN Radiologic Technologist to obtain diagnostic radiographs and support patient care and safety in the Radiology Department.

The role requires an Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Radiologic Science, ARRT registration or eligibility, and CPR certification. Prior radiology experience is preferred but not required; rotation for weekends/holidays is involved.

• Six months of radiology experience preferred but not required.

Aufgaben

• Transports patients to and from the Radiology Department.
• Assist all patients on and off the x-ray/CT tables.
• Positions patients for specific diagnostic exam.
• Regulates and controls exposure of radiation to obtain a diagnostic radiograph.
• Assist Radiologist during all fluoroscopic and special procedures.
• Documents proper patient history for all radiologic exams.
• Operates mobile x-ray equipment, CT and x-ray machines.
• Performs x-rays and CT scans on emergency callbacks, weekends, and holidays on a rotational schedule.
• Strong patient orientation and safety are essential.
