HITACHI ENERGY GERMANY AG in Bavaria seeks an experienced R&D Engineer to join a multidisciplinary team developing high-voltage switchgear and components, such as circuit breaker drives.

You will work across mechanical and electrical engineering, materials science, and failure analysis, shaping designs, validating concepts, and documenting results in a global environment. Qualifikationen

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a comparable field, with several years of professional experience in R&D or design engineering (experience in hydraulics is a strong advantage).
• Hands-on experience with 3D CAD design (Creo), SAP R/3, and technical documentation
• Strong knowledge of relevant standards and regulations (e.g., DIN, EN, material specifications)
• Experience in planning, executing, and analyzing tests and experiments
• Strong technical mindset with an interest in business processes and product lifecycle
• Fluency in German and English (both written and spoken)
