Jobtailor in Germany seeks an experienced Software Engineer focused on production ML systems. You will design, build, and maintain end-to-end ML pipelines, and deploy models via APIs, batch jobs, and real-time streaming services, collaborating closely with data scientists and platform teams.

You will work hands-on with AWS infrastructure to build scalable systems, containerize services with Docker, and apply Ray for distributed workloads, ensuring robust testing, monitoring, and reliability

Qualifikationen

• 4+ years of software engineering experience.
• Hands-on experience building ML systems in production.
• Strong Python programming with clean architecture and testing.
• Experience deploying on AWS or comparable cloud.
• Experience with Ray or similar distributed compute frameworks.
• Experience with Git and code reviews.
• CI/CD pipelines experience (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI).
• Testing (unit and integration) required.
• Experience with Docker; Kubernetes or similar is a plus.
• Production infra exposure (CI/CD, monitoring, logging, deployments).

Requirements

• Proven experience building and operating systems on AWS (preferred) or strong experience with a comparable cloud platform
• Experience with Ray (or similar distributed compute frameworks) is a strong plus.
• Experience with: Git (collaborative workflows, code reviews)
• CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, etc.)
• Testing (unit + integration — not optional)
