Zusammenfassung

SPIE Wind in Bremen sucht einen Protection Testing Engineer für Mittelspannungstechnik. Sie führen Funktions- und Abnahmetests an Schutzrelais durch und arbeiten eng mit Ingenieuren sowie Betriebsteams zusammen.

Erfahrung in Schutztechnik für Mittelspannungsanlagen, idealerweise 10 kV–36 kV, sowie Bereitschaft zu deutschlandweitem Reisen werden vorausgesetzt. Ein unbefristetes Vollzeitverhältnis wird angeboten.

Qualifikationen

• Abgeschlossene Ausbildung oder höher in Elektrotechnik oder vergleichbar.
• Fundierte Kenntnisse in Schutz- und Automatisierungstechnik für Mittelspannung (~10 kV–36 kV).
• Fachliche Erfahrung im Schutz von Mittelspannungsanlagen ist wünschenswert.

Aufgaben

• Durchführung von Funktions- und Parametrierung von Schutzrelais.
• Überprüfung und Optimierung von Schutzpegeln (Überstrom, Erdschluss, Distanz).
• Eigenständige Fehlersuche in Schutzgeräten und -systemen.
• Dokumentation von Schaltvorgängen und Schutzläufen.
• Abnahme- und Inbetriebnahmeprüfungen neuer Schutzsysteme.

Protection Testing Engineer – Medium-Voltage Systems m/f/d

Aufgaben

• Performing functional tests and parameterization of protection relays and protection devices in medium-voltage systems
• Reviewing and optimizing protection settings (overcurrent, earth-fault, and distance protection) to ensure safe system operation
• Independently troubleshooting and rectifying faults in protection devices and protection systems
• Analyzing and documenting switching operations and protection trips to identify root causes of faults and malfunctions
• Performing final acceptance tests and commissioning tests on new protection systems prior to commissioning
• Preparing condition reports and developing recommendations for optimizing protection technology
• Working closely with engineers, technicians, and operations personnel to ensure smooth integration and maintenance of protection systems
• Ensuring compliance with all relevant safety regulations and technical standards, e.g. VDE and IEC
• Performing electrical inspections and tests in accordance with applicable DGUV regulations and DIN VDE 0100 standards

Profil

• Completed vocational training, further qualification as a Technician/Master Craftsman m/f/d, or a degree in Electrical Engineering, Energy Engineering, or a comparable field
• Strong knowledge of protection and control technology, particularly in the use of protection systems for medium-voltage systems (approx. 10 kV to 36 kV and above)
• Professional experience in protection technology, ideally in the field of medium-voltage systems
• Confident handling of protection concepts such as overcurrent, earth-fault, and distance protection, including their application and optimization
• Good knowledge of relevant safety regulations and technical standards, with the ability to consistently implement them in practice
• Structured, meticulous, and independent approach to work, particularly in planning, testing, and documentation
• Valid Class B driving licence
• Ability to work at heights and willingness to travel throughout Germany
