Zusammenfassung

SIXT IT seeks a Tech Governance & Compliance Lead to own end-to-end governance, optimization of audits, and the implementation of automation and AI in compliance. You will coordinate with external auditors and internal IT stakeholders to drive scalable, transparent processes.

Ideal candidates have 3–5 years in IT governance/compliance and strong project management, with a pragmatic mindset for efficient IT services across the organization.

• Drive preparation, execution, and follow-up of recurring IT audits and compliance activities (PCI DSS, annual IT audits, EU AI Act).
• Act as central interface between external auditors, certification bodies, and internal SIXT IT stakeholders.
• Design and optimize processes so audits are smoother and less manual.
• Identify opportunities to use automation and AI to improve compliance operations, evidence handling, and reporting.
• Lead cross-functional projects to close gaps and ensure sustainable compliance across teams.

Do you want to own governance and compliance processes end to end? In this role, you will drive the setup, optimization, and execution of core Tech Governance & Compliance processes across SIXT IT. Owning audits is a key part of the job, but the bigger mission is to build efficient, scalable, and well-prepared compliance processes that reduce repetitive work and increase transparency. If you combine strong project management skills with a pragmatic compliance mindset and a clear focus on bringing automation and AI into action, we'd love to meet you in Pullach close to Munich.

YOUR ROLE AT SIXT

• You own Tech Governance & Compliance processes end to end and continuously improve them for efficiency, transparency, and scalability
• You drive the preparation, execution, and follow-up of recurring IT audits and compliance activities across topics such as PCI DSS, yearly IT audits, and the EU AI Act
• You act as the central interface between external auditors, certification bodies, and internal SIXT IT stakeholders
• You design and optimize processes so that audits become smoother, better prepared, and less dependent on manual work
• You identify opportunities to use automation and AI to improve compliance operations, evidence handling, and reporting
• You lead cross-functional projects to close gaps, improve readiness, and ensure sustainable compliance across teams and divisions

YOUR SKILLS MATTER

• Experience You have around 3–5 years of experience in project management, IT governance, IT compliance, audit-related roles, or consulting with strong IT touchpoints
• Stakeholder Management You bring proven project management skills and know how to coordinate multiple stakeholders in parallel, internally and externally
• IT Affinity You have a solid general understanding of IT and feel comfortable working with technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Solution-Oriented You understand how to interpret requirements and translate them into pragmatic solutions that balance compliance with efficient IT services
• Tech-Savviness You are confident in using AI as a productivity and process improvement tool, not just as a buzzword
• Communication You communicate clearly, work in a structured way, and bring the assertiveness needed to move cross-functional topics forward
