We are partnered with a highly reputable Environmental Consulting and Engineering, with multiple office locations in the NYC Metro area. They have continued to add projects to their already impressive work load, and are seeking an experienced Project level person to join their team.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in relevant technical field.
- Current OSHA 40 HAZWOPER certification and SST.
- Has strong communication skills and working knowledge of common environmental field sampling methodologies / techniques.
- Proficient in designing field programs and managing projects and associated field activities - scheduling, coordination of tasks, budgeting, subcontractor negotiating/management.
- Has grasp of how all field activities or subtasks fit into the overall project goal to meet the client's needs and able to communicate this to staff.
- Proficient written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to properly evaluate and interpret historical data.
- Ability to understand applicable NYS/Federal regulations and regulatory framework for each project.
Responsibilities:
- Prepares quality reports and proposals/cost estimates to a level generally acceptable for Senior/Principal review and within established deadlines.
- Manages projects and associated field activities - scheduling, coordination of tasks, budgeting, subcontractor negotiating/management; tasks are completed on time and on budget.
- For Engineers, also includes experience planning, coordinating, and managing the field implementation of common remedial technologies/approaches designed by Senior/Principal level professionals and supporting Senior/Principal level professionals with conceptual and detailed remedial design work.
- For Geologists, includes experience planning, coordinating, and managing Site/Remedial Investigation field activities and performing follow up intermediate hydrogeologic and data interpretation.
- Ability and willingness to support the technical growth of staff level professionals based on direct hand-on interactions.
Compensation/Benefits:
- Pay Range: $77,000-88,000 Commensurate with Experience
