Zusammenfassung

Stanley Black & Decker, Inc. seeks a Project Engineer – Electrical Engineering (m/f/d) in Idstein to lead the development and integration of electronics for power tools from concept to production.

You will design circuits, motor controls, and hardware solutions while coordinating with mechanical engineering, software, and product management. You will conduct system analyses, perform risk assessments such as FMEA, and validate designs to meet standards.

Qualifikationen

  • Completed degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a comparable field.
  • Several years of experience in developing and integrating complex electronics and hardware systems.
  • Knowledge of systems engineering, requirement management, and interface definition.
  • Solid experience in analog/digital circuit design, motor controls, power electronics, and validation methods.
  • Familiarity with electric motors, especially BLDC and other rotating-field machines.
  • Experience working cross-functionally, ideally in international teams.
  • Proficient with MATLAB/Simulink, SPICE, Altium Designer, and modern measurement systems.
  • Strong communication, facilitation skills and enjoyment of teamwork.
  • Structured, self-driven, solution-oriented working style with a big-picture perspective.
  • Good German and English skills.
  • Willingness to travel occasionally.

Aufgaben

Role
