LVI Associates in Frankfurt area seeks a Project Developer to advance utility-scale Solar PV and Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) projects across Germany. You will own opportunities from site identification through permitting to RTB, collaborating with landowners, municipalities, consultants and regulators.

Qualifikationen

• Degree in Renewable Energy, Engineering, Geography, Environmental Sciences, Planning, Real Estate or a related discipline.
• Experience in developing renewable energy projects, ideally Solar PV and/or BESS projects within Germany.
• Strong understanding of German permitting procedures, planning regulations and stakeholder management.
• Experience with land acquisition, site evaluation and project permitting.
• Fluent German and good English language skills.
• Willingness to travel regionally as required.
• Experience with battery storage projects.
• Knowledge of grid connection processes.
• Experience managing external consultants and environmental studies.
• Familiarity with GIS/QGIS and project development tools.

Aufgaben

• Identify, assess and secure new project opportunities for utility-scale Solar PV and BESS developments.
• Lead land acquisition activities, including negotiations with landowners and the securing of land rights.
• Manage projects throughout the development process from greenfield stage to ready-to-build (RTB).
• Coordinate zoning, permitting and approval procedures with relevant authorities and municipalities.
• Manage external stakeholders including landowners, consultants, environmental specialists, grid operators and local communities.
• Oversee environmental and technical assessments and ensure project compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Support grid connection activities and coordinate with network operators where required.
• Monitor project timelines, budgets and development risks, implementing mitigation strategies as necessary.
• Work closely with internal engineering, construction, finance and commercial teams to ensure successful project delivery.
• Contribute to regional growth strategies and support the origination of new development opportunities.

We are seeking a Project Developer to support the development of utility-scale Solar PV and Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) projects across Germany. This role offers the opportunity to take ownership of projects throughout the entire development lifecycle, from site identification and land acquisition through permitting and ready-to-build status.

Working closely with internal technical teams, landowners, municipalities, consultants and regulatory authorities, you will play a key role in advancing renewable energy projects that contribute to the energy transition.

Key Responsibilities:
