The Project Coordinator is responsible for managing project deliverables in support of achieving project objectives over the entire project life cycle for projects of moderate complexity and risk. The Project Coordinator role is a stepping stone towards the Project Management path at OSI and as such responsibilities include some project‑management tasks and people management although final authority and responsibility rest with the managing Project/Program Manager.
Education: Business‑related university degree or college diploma and/or courses in accounting or business
Experience: A minimum of three years’ experience in a Project Coordinator role in a systems delivery domain with demonstrated success handling a succession of projects of increasing complexity culminating in end‑to‑end responsibility for moderately complex projects.
Skills: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; definition, negotiation, and achievement of project objectives; self‑starter with the ability to work independently; excellent judgment and complex problem‑solving abilities; risk management; customer management and relationship ownership; highly accurate; detail and deadline oriented; people‑management experience; advanced Microsoft Office skills; ability to multi‑task; working knowledge of general accounting software, MAS 500 would be an asset.
