Zusammenfassung

Sonplas GmbH is seeking a Production Planner (m/f/d) who combines technical understanding with strong organizational skills to ensure parts are available on time and at competitive costs. You will work at the interface between engineering, production and suppliers, reading drawings and BOMs to procure parts.

In this role you will prepare cost calculations, evaluate production costs, select suppliers, compare quotations, monitor delivery dates and quality, and keep ERP data up to date.

Qualifikationen

• You have completed technical vocational training and ideally additional master craftsman/technician qualifications.
• You have sound knowledge of manufacturing and machining processes in mechanical engineering.
• Experience with ERP and PLM systems is an advantage.
• You have a good technical understanding and are confident in reading and evaluating technical drawings and bills of materials.
• You have strong negotiation skills, cost awareness and a professional, reliable manner.
• You have business-fluent English skills for working with international suppliers.
• You work independently, in a structured manner and with a strong sense of responsibility.
• Strong communication skills, an open and approachable personality and teamwork complete your profile.

Aufgaben

• Procure production parts based on technical drawings and BOMs, ensuring timely and cost-effective availability.
• Prepare preliminary cost calculations and evaluate production costs.
• Research, select and qualify suitable national and international suppliers.
• Obtain, review and compare quotations.
• Coordinate technical and commercial requirements with suppliers.
• Monitor delivery dates, costs and quality requirements.
• Maintain item, supplier and procurement data in the ERP system.
• Identify potential improvements and advance procurement and planning processes.
• Act as the technical interface between suppliers, engineering, purchasing and internal departments.
