Zusammenfassung

Blackwave sucht zur Verstärkung des Manufacturing-Teams eine/n Produktionsoperator/in – Fertigung (alle Geschlechter). Sie bedienen Filament-Winding-Maschinen, sorgen für stabile Prozesse und eine gleichbleibend hohe Qualität der Hochdruck-Composite-Tanks.

Sie führen Vor- und Nachbehandlungen durch, überwachen Parameter, prüfen Bauteile und arbeiten eng mit QA sowie weiteren Abteilungen zusammen. Berufserfahrung in der Fertigung und eine hands-on‑Mentalität sind gewünscht.

Qualifikationen

• Erfahrung in der Fertigung, CNC/Maschinenbedienung oder vergleichbarer Produktion.
• Hands‑on‑Mentalität mit präziser, strukturierter Arbeitsweise.
• Verständnis von Qualitätsstandards und Fertigungstoleranzen.

Aufgaben

• Bedienen Filament-Winding-Maschinen und Parametereinhaltung überwachen.
• Vor- und Nachbehandlungen durchführen (Vakuum-Bagging, Aushärtung, Entpacken).
• Stabile Maschinenführung sichern und Produktionsstillstand vermeiden.
• Bauteile während und nach der Fertigung inspizieren und dokumentieren.
• Abweichungen früh melden; eng mit QA und funktionsübergreifenden Teams arbeiten.

Founded in 2016 and headquartered in Munich, Germany, the company delivers COPVs from a standardized portfolio with flight heritage. The approach reduces lead time from months to days while ensuring that each tank is qualified and flight-ready. Blackwave's mission is to end COPV failure in spaceflight.

You operate filament winding machines to manufacture high-pressure composite tanks, ensuring components are produced to specification, processes remain stable, and quality stays consistently high.

Winding & Machine Operation

• Operate filament winding machines, including process parameter monitoring
• Perform pre- and post-processing tasks (e.g. vacuum bagging, curing preparation, unpacking)
• Ensure stable machine operation and prevent production downtime

Quality & Process Discipline

• Inspect components during and after production
• Never pass on defective or uninspected parts
• Follow defined work instructions, maintain accurate documentation, and keep the workplace organized
• Work closely with QA and cross-functional teams
• Communicate issues and deviations openly and early

Profil

• Experience in manufacturing, CNC/machine operation, metalworking, plastics, automotive, or a comparable production environment
• Technical training is an advantage but not required
• Hands‑on mindset with a precise and structured way of working
• Strong understanding of quality standards and manufacturing tolerances
• Willingness to work shifts
• Basic technical understanding
