About the Role

The Product Manager plays a key role in executing our commercial and operational strategy, driving profitability and risk reduction for the production site in Gendorf.

Key Tasks and Responsibilities

• Subject matter expert for product cost calculation and development.
• Implement product line changes in alignment with PLM Directors and Plant Managers to improve profitability.
• Develop and maintain all technical product documentation, including specifications and technical data sheets.
• Create and maintain the bill of materials for products.
• Identify profitable uses of NVI and manage customer re‑purchase programs.
• Act as project manager for new product development or technical changes within the Stage‑Gate process.
• Manage the site’s sample strategy, including SKUs and inventory recommendations.
• Guide the site on prioritising products and customers under capacity constraints, in coordination with the PHD leadership team.
• Support PLM Directors in customer communication and sales tool management related to product changes or issues.
• Support Sales in customer discussions and training sessions requiring product expertise.
• Coordinate and lead quarterly (or monthly) Value Stream Team meetings to identify issues, opportunities, actions, and progress.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Science, or Engineering; 3‑5 years of related experience; MBA a plus.
• Strong data analysis and presentation skills.
• Advanced knowledge of SAP, Power BI, Salesforce, and Pricefx, or the ability to learn them quickly.
• Proficiency in Excel, including pivot tables.
• Ability to develop and deliver professional, concise presentations.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills across cultures and all levels.
• Strategic and tactical thinking with rapid adjustment to priorities.
• Self‑directed and well‑organized, balancing urgent and important tasks.
• Fluent in written and oral English and German.
• Willingness to travel occasionally.
