KWS Berlin is seeking a Procurement Associate (m/f/d) to support our team in procurement operations, internal stakeholder management, and process optimization. This fixed-term position (24 months) with 38 hours per week is based in Berlin.

You will gain hands-on experience in requisitions, POs, RFQs, spend analysis, and cross-functional collaboration with Accounts Payable, Master Data Management, General Ledger & Controlling, and Global IT.

Qualifikationen

• Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's degree at a German university.
• Strong interest in procurement with a proactive, learning-oriented mindset.
• Proficiency in German and English; other EU languages are a plus.

• Process purchase requisitions, purchase orders, and contracts per defined SLAs.
• Manage procurement requests through ticketing system while maintaining SLA compliance.
• Support RFQ processes and tactical purchasing within spend categories and thresholds.
• Analyze spending and identify catalog implementation and process improvements.
• Assist end-user training and enable stakeholders to use procurement tools and processes.
• Collaborate with Accounts Payable, ExHub Procurement, Master Data, General Ledger & Controlling, and Global IT.

At KWS Berlin, we are looking for a Procurement Associate (m/f/d) to support our team in procurement operations, internal stakeholder management, and process optimization. In this role, you will gain valuable insights into purchasing processes, contribute to cross-functional collaboration, and help drive operational excellence across our organization.

This is a fixed-term position (24 months) with 38 hours per week, based in Berlin.

Your responsibilities

• Process purchase requisitions, purchase orders, and contracts for goods and services in accordance with defined scopes and service level agreements (SLAs).
• Manage procurement-related requests from internal stakeholders through our ticketing system while ensuring compliance with agreed SLAs.
• Support request-for-quotation (RFQ) processes and execute tactical purchasing activities within defined spend categories and approval thresholds.
• Analyze spending patterns across supported KWS legal entities and identify opportunities for catalog implementation and process improvements.
• Support the delivery of end-user training and enable stakeholders to effectively utilize procurement tools and processes.
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including Accounts Payable, ExHub Procurement, Master Data Management, General Ledger & Controlling, and Global IT, to ensure seamless end-to-end process execution.

Your profile

• Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's degree program at a German university, preferably in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field.
• Strong interest in procurement and a proactive, learning-oriented mindset.
• Proficiency in German and English; Spanish, Italian, French, or other EU languages are a plus;
• High affinity for IT tools, including very good Excel skills; knowledge of SAP CPH is a plus;
• Strong communication and organization skills.
