Zusammenfassung

Discover International is hiring a senior full-stack engineer in Germany. You will own features end to end, from shaping the approach with Product Owner through to production, working with a mature Java Spring backend and Angular frontend.

You will join a cross-functional team, drive architectural decisions, and mentor others while ensuring compliance, auditability and data integrity in financial services. The role is hybrid with flexible working arrangements.

Qualifikationen

• 5+ years of professional Java development (Spring / Spring Boot, REST, JPA, SQL).
• 3+ years building production applications in Angular.
• Commercial experience within financial services or insurance — you understand why compliance, auditability and data integrity aren't negotiable.
• Fluent German (C1 or better) and solid English.

• Building and evolving customer-facing web applications on a mature Java Spring codebase with Angular on the front end.
• Working in a cross-functional team alongside Product, UX and Design — not taking tickets off a backlog, but helping decide what gets built.
• Driving architectural decisions and pushing the platform toward a cleaner, more modular structure.
• Setting the technical bar through code review, testing and mentoring less experienced developers.

Their products handle real money and real regulatory weight — which means the engineering problems are genuinely hard, and the code you write matters to thousands of daily users.

They're growing the core product team and looking for a senior full-stack engineer to take ownership of features end to end, from shaping the approach with the Product Owner through to production.
