Blue Cross NC seeks a Principal Data & Analytics Governance & Quality Analyst to lead the enterprise governance strategy for data assets, ensuring quality and fitness-for-use. You will own governance programs, drive cross-functional collaboration, and oversee data catalogs and quality monitoring across domains.
Responsibilities include steering councils, aligning policy with business and technology, and guiding data asset strategy.
The Principal Data & Analytics Governance & Quality Analyst leads the development and implementation of the enterprise’s Data and Analytics Governance strategy and compliance for business and consumption layer data assets. As the primary data owner, ensure the integrity, quality, and fitness-for-purpose of the organization’s critical data and analytics products. Take principal-level responsibility for developing and overseeing data governance strategies, leading cross-functional teams, and driving continuous improvement initiatives. Assumes accountability for the assessment, improvement and governance of quality and ongoing fitness-for-purpose of the organization’s foundational data and analytics products.

In a Hybrid-Flex role, you’ll work in the office at least two days a week for collaboration and connection. In a Remote Flex role, you’ll work virtually, with a few in-office visits each year for meaningful moments that matter.
