Zusammenfassung

LRE Medical in Munich is seeking a PMO Global Projects leader (m/w/d) to drive the program and project management function across the organization. You will work with engineering, operations, QA, regulatory affairs, and commercial teams to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery of complex medical device development programs.

You will build PMO structures, define KPIs, mentor project managers, and actively manage critical customer and development projects.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Life Sciences, Biotechnology or a related technical discipline.
• Several years of Project or Program Management experience in Medical Devices, IVD or Life Sciences.
• Experience leading multidisciplinary product development projects.
• Experience developing or improving PMO structures and ways of working.
• Hands-on mentality and willingness to actively support teams in operational project work.
• Confidence working in regulated development environments.
• Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate across functions and with customers.
• PMP, IPMA or comparable certification is a plus.

• Lead and continuously develop our PMO while actively contributing to project execution
• Personally take ownership of critical customer and development projects whenever additional leadership is needed
• Lead, develop and support Project Managers in their day-to-day work
• Build practical PMO methodologies, standards, tools and KPIs and reporting that simplify execution rather than create bureaucracy
• Manage and prioritize the project portfolio together with the leadership team
• Support resource planning and capacity management across functions
• Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, budget and quality objectives and manage risks and proactively implement corrective actions
• Work side-by-side with Engineering, Operations, Quality, Regulatory Affairs, Supply Chain and Commercial teams to remove roadblocks
• Support successful Design Transfer and industrialization activities together with Operations
• Act as a trusted partner for our customers throughout the project lifecycle
• Continuously improve PMO processes, tools and collaboration across the organization

The role manages all Program and Project Managers and establishes a high-performing PMO focused on project execution excellence, portfolio management, governance, customer satisfaction and commercial success.

What you bring
