Actalent is seeking a contract-to-hire Plumbing Design Engineer to join our MEP team in Chicago. The role focuses on designing building plumbing systems, performing load calculations, and producing construction drawings with Revit.

Experience with IPC/UPC and building codes is essential, with LEED or government project exposure a plus. The hybrid position will involve collaboration with multiple departments and on-site visits as needed.

Qualifikationen

• BS degree in engineering or related field.
• 3–6+ years of MEP/AEC plumbing design experience.
• Proficiency in Revit.
• Commercial or high-rise/multi-building residential design experience.
• Experience producing construction drawings and specifications.
• Ability to perform load calculations & system analysis.
• Knowledge of IPC/UPC, IBC standards.
• Plus: Certification, LEED Accreditation, government project experience.
• Experience with AutoCAD, Bluebeam, Newforma.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $34.62 - $52.40/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
