Labcorp is seeking a Phlebotomist to join our team at Becks Woods Drive in Bear, DE. The role involves blood collection by venipuncture and capillary techniques, specimen handling, and providing exceptional customer service in a patient-focused environment.

You will perform data entry, assist with billing tasks, and travel to additional sites as needed, with opportunities for growth and ongoing training within Labcorp’s extensive network.

Labcorp is seeking a Phlebotomist to join our team at Becks Woods Drive in Bear, DE.

Work Schedule: Monday - Friday 8:00am - 4:30pm and rotating Saturdays

Job Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests etc.

Minimum Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent
• Phlebotomy certification or completed training program or 3 months or more experience as a phlebotomist

Preferred Qualifications

• 1 year or more of phlebotomy experience

Additional Job Standards

• In lieu of work experience, a Phlebotomy certification or completed training program must come from an accredited agency
• Proven track record in providing exceptional customer service
• Strong communication skills; both written and verbal
• Ability to work independently or in a team environment
• Comfortable working under minimal supervision
• Reliable transportation
• Flexibility to work overtime as needed
• Able to pass a standardized color blindness test

Phlebotomist will work in either a Patient Service Center or Client office. In this role you will provide exceptional customer service, perform skilled specimen collections and be the face of the company. In addition, you will be provided opportunities for continuous growth within the organization.

Phlebotomist’s may be eligible for participation in the PST Incentive Plan, which pays a quarterly bonus based on performance metrics.
