Overview

An established clinical research site network in Munich is seeking an experienced Clinical Trial Manager to support the delivery of rheumatology clinical trials, with a strong focus on patient recruitment and engagement.

This role will work closely with principal investigators, study coordinators, and sponsor/CRO partners to ensure the successful execution of studies while driving patient identification and enrolment across the Munich region.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the operational delivery of rheumatology clinical trials across the Munich site network
• Develop and implement patient recruitment and engagement strategies to support enrolment targets
• Work closely with principal investigators, research nurses, and study coordinators to ensure efficient study execution
• Monitor site performance, recruitment metrics, and study timelines
• Collaborate with sponsors and CRO partners to ensure compliance with protocols and regulatory requirements
• Support site feasibility assessments and site selection activities
• Maintain high-quality study documentation and adherence to ICH-GCP standards
• Build and maintain relationships with local clinics, investigators, and referral networks to support patient recruitment

Key Skills & Experience

• Proven track record in rheumatology clinical trials or patient recruitment within rheumatology studies
• Experience working within clinical research sites or site networks in Germany
• Strong local network within Munich hospitals, clinics, or investigator groups
• Demonstrated ability to drive patient recruitment and enrolment
• Solid understanding of ICH-GCP guidelines and clinical trial regulations in Germany
• Experience working with sponsors, CROs, and investigator-led studies
• Strong organisational and stakeholder management skills
