Oracle ALM Lead

About the Role

We are seeking an Oracle ALM Lead to spearhead the solution architecture, functional configuration, and deployment of our Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP financial modules—covering General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Lease Accounting, Fixed Assets, and Project Accounting.

As a key member of the ERP overhaul team transitioning our global infrastructure from NetSuite to Oracle, you will serve as the Subject Matter Expert (SME). You will be responsible for designing and implementing robust, scalable solutions for asset purchase, invoicing, capitalization, depreciation, project costing, billing, and seamless asset integration with the General Ledger.

What You’ll Do

• Solution Architecture & Scalability: Govern the technical architecture and scalability of Oracle Fusion configurations and integrations. Proactively evaluate the performance impact of new customizations to ensure all technical designs adhere to long-term sustainability, security, and maintainability standards within the enterprise ecosystem.
• Implementation & Project Leadership: Serve as the functional lead for the Oracle Fusion implementation across General Ledger, Intercompany, Accounts Payable, Fixed Assets, and Project Accounting. Own the complete Asset Lifecycle Management (ALM) lifecycle from detailed requirements documentation through integration testing, data migration, and production support.
• Solution Design & Collaboration: Conduct comprehensive discovery sessions with Accounting, Project Management Offices (PMO), Engineering, and Operational teams to capture nuanced business requirements. Develop detailed functional specifications for reports, workflows, and integrations.
• Governance & Support: Maintain high-quality training documentation and conduct role-based training for end-users across Finance and Project Management. Provide Level 2/3 functional support, conducting root‑cause analysis for issues related to asset valuation, depreciation runs, and project cost reporting.
• Data Strategy: Direct the strategy for data quality, conversion, and ongoing master data governance across all financial entities (e.g., Customers, Customer Accounts, Suppliers, COA, and Payment History).
• Domain Expertise: Act as the internal Subject Matter Expert for core Finance processes and their corresponding capabilities within the Oracle Fusion suite.

Role Requirements

Must-Have Skills:

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Information Systems, or a related technical/functional field (or equivalent practical experience).
• 10+ years of experience in an IT or functional role supporting enterprise-grade financial systems.
• 4+ years of deep, hands‑on implementation and configuration experience with Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP modules (specifically General Ledger, Payables, Cash Management, Fixed Assets, and Project Costing).
• Strong foundational knowledge of accounting principles related to capitalization, depreciation methodologies, asset subledger accounting, and project cost accounting.
• Demonstrated track record leading or significantly contributing to a major enterprise ERP implementation involving these core modules.

Nice-to-Have Skills:

• Direct experience leading or supporting a system migration from NetSuite to Oracle Fusion/PPM/FA.
• Functional knowledge of Oracle Fusion Revenue Management (RM) for complex contract and project revenue recognition.
• Experience integrating project and asset data with Oracle EPM.
• Professional certification in Oracle Fusion Cloud Project Management or Oracle Fusion Cloud Fixed Assets.
