Qualifikationen

• Universitätsabschluss in Musikpädagogik mit Schwerpunkt Blasinstrumente/Trombone.
• Erfahrung im Unterricht von Kindern, Jugendlichen und Erwachsenen wünschenswert.
• Kenntnisse in der Arbeit mit Vorschulkindern von Vorteil.

Aufgaben

• Unterricht in Einzel- und Gruppenstunden sowohl vor Ort als auch online.

Music Educator for Low Brass Instruments/Trombone

The position involves teaching individual and group lessons to children, teenagers, and adults, both in-person and online when necessary. Responsibilities include preparing students for performances, exams, and competitions, such as 'Jugend musiziert', and providing ongoing support and advice to students and their parents. The teacher will also plan and participate in music school events, contribute to concerts and projects, and lead ensembles. Participation in faculty meetings and collaboration with the music school administration is expected, along with continuous professional development and personal practice.Candidates should have a university degree in music education with a focus on low brass instruments or trombone. Experience in teaching low brass instruments is preferred, as well as a track record of student success in competitions and ensemble work. Knowledge of working with preschool children is also desirable. Proficiency in German at least at C1 level is required for non-native speakers.
