Mission Simulator Operator/Instructor Surveillance Controller (f/m/d)

Responsibilities
- Operate the Simulator Training Devices (STDs) and associated systems
- Provide expertise to contribute to an effective and efficient use of the STDs capabilities and support military instructors to achieve this goal
- Instruct students in checklist procedure and basic system knowledge in the STDs
- Provide the full range of simulator scenario training to aircrew members during all phases of training
- Conduct theoretical and practical training and augment Customer Training Organization as required
- Lead training and scenario development and review
- Instruct basic system knowledge, normal and emergency procedure training and student instructor familiarization training
- Support planning, guiding and execution of simulated events, support distributed Simulator trainings
- Provide briefing and debriefing to trainee and lead scheduling activities
- Maintain and update all required technical and operational publications and data provided by customer
- Contribute to further development of training program
- Provide demonstration during visits
- Provide and track data for training, training events, students performance and generic statistics
- Support the On Site Manager as required
- Carry out additional tasks under direction
Qualifications
- Educational and professional background with a bachelor degree plus a professional certification and a minimum of 5 to 8 years of relevant work experience in an international environment
- Recent thorough working knowledge of Air Defence Operations and Air Battle Management, acquired in an Air Surveillance and Control Unit (e.g., AWACS, JTAC or Control and Reporting Center (CRC))
- At least three years experience as a Surveillance Controller on the E‑3A
- At least one year experience as an instructor Surveillance Controller on the E3A
- Excellent organizational skills, including a sense of accuracy
- Strong communication skills across versatile customer groups
- Hands‑on, pragmatic, and service‑orientated
- Fluency in English
- Eligible for NATO security clearance
