Zusammenfassung

krisenchat gGmbH is seeking an experienced Midlevel Fullstack Engineer to join our core chat platform. You will work across the stack (Next.JS, React, TS, Tailwind) and deliver scalable features while integrating AI in a privacy-conscious way.

The role is remote with German residence, 40 hours/week, immediate start. You will collaborate with product owners and developers to ship with high quality and ownership.

Qualifikationen

• Computer Science degree or similar and 3+ years in a Fullstack Engineer role.
• Strong proficiency in Next.js, React, Typescript and Tailwind stack.
• Solid API design and backend service experience (Node.js or Python).
• Experience building or integrating AI features and strong collaboration skills.
• Proactive problem-solving, high ownership, and willingness to learn AI tech.

Your mission

Title: Midlevel Fullstack Engineer

Starting Date: immediately

Working hours: 40 hours per week

Fixed term: 31.12.2026, to be extended if project funding allows

Location: Remote with German residence

Language: English, German is a bonus

Salary range: 50.000 - 60.000€ per 1 FTE

As our Fullstack Engineer you are a key player in building and enhancing our core chat platform. You will work across the entire stack, focusing on delivering robust and user-friendly features with a strong focus on integrating cutting-edge AI technologies to improve our service for children and adolescents in need.

Your tasks:

• Develop, test, anddeploy high-quality, scalable full-stack features using our core technologies (Next.JS, React, Typescript, Tailwind)


• Design and implement effective API solutions and backend services (eg. Node.js or Python) to support our application's performance and functionality


• Collaborate closely with the rest of the development team and product owner to translate product requirements into technical solutions


• Integrate andleverage AI models and features into the platform, specifically focusing on responsible implementation concerning user privacy and security


• Engage incontinuous knowledge exchange and perform thorough code reviews to maintain high coding standards and elevate team quality


• Take ownership of features and projects, from conceptualization through to production deployment and monitoring

Your profile

• Computer Science Degree or similar and 3+ years of similar experience in a Fullstack Engineer role


• Strong proficiency in our core stack: Next.JS, React, Typescript, Tailwind


• Solid understanding of API design and backend services (e.g., Node.js or Python)


• Experience with building or integrating AI features


• Strong communication and collaboration skills
