Omnisent GmbH in Munich is seeking a Mechanical Engineer to design and develop the mechanical systems behind OmniDome's sensors, interceptors, and enclosures—from concept to field-ready hardware.

You will design mechanical structures, iterate CAD models, select materials, and ensure manufacturability for weather-resistant hardware, collaborating with electronics, RF, and flight test teams to deliver integrated systems.

Aufgaben

Founded in 2025, Omnisent is a Munich-based defense technology company developing fully autonomous, Counter-UAS system. We are a small, high-output team from Cambridge, Imperial College, MIT, and BCG united by a mission to redefine modern airspace security.

Aufgaben

We are looking for a Mechanical Engineer to design and develop the mechanical systems behind OmniDome's sensors, interceptors, and enclosures – from concept through field-ready hardware.

• Design mechanical structures and enclosures for sensors, interceptors, and other hardware components
• Develop and iterate on CAD models and technical drawings for new and existing hardware
• Select materials and manufacturing processes suited for field-deployed, weather-resistant hardware
• Design for manufacturability (DFM) and assembly (DFA), working closely with production and procurement
• Support prototyping, testing, and iteration based on flight test and field deployment feedback

• Experience with drone, robotics, or aerospace mechanical design
