Zusammenfassung

Uniper in Germany seeks a seasoned data analytics and AI-focused auditor to join the Audit Commercial team in Düsseldorf. You will drive the Internal Audit Data & AI strategy, broaden data coverage across risk areas, and deliver data-driven insights to elevate analytics and AI within Internal Audit.

You will work closely with audit colleagues and stakeholders to foster a data-driven culture, build trust pilot use cases, and enable the team by sharing knowledge on data concepts and agile project

Qualifikationen

• Degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Economics or related quantitative field.
• Significant experience in auditing or consulting in a commercial environment, risk management or commodity markets.
• Project management experience driving data analytics initiatives as Product Owner, Business Analyst or Business Project Manager.
• Experience using data analytics and data science techniques in internal audits or similar role.
• Hands-on experience with Advanced Analytics including ML and generative AI (LLMs) would be an advantage.
• Familiarity with data governance and data management practices.
• Strong analytical thinking, process orientation, and ability to explain complex concepts to non-technical colleagues.
• Fluent in written and spoken English; German skills are a plus.
• Professional certificates such as CIA, CISA, CFE would be a plus.

• Develop recommendations with the business to improve operations and monitor implementation.
• Create transparent audit service documentation, ensuring Internal Audit standards are followed.
• Strengthen cooperation with business and audit clients and support in delivering the audit plan.

Your responsibilities

• Drive & enhance the Internal Audit Data & Ai Strategy by broadening data coverage across key risk areas to deliver data-driven insights, elevating Data Analytics and Ai within Internal Audit.
• Work closely with the internal audit colleagues and our stakeholders to adopt a data-driven culture and thereby build trust pilot use cases for data analytics and Ai throughout the internal audit process, e.g. for risk assessment and sample testing.
• Engage in Uniper’s Data & Ai Community and foster cross-team cooperation.
• Enable and train the team: Share knowledge and provide support to our internal audit team members on data & Ai concepts, tools as well as working in an agile project setting.
• Conduct audits primarily within the CCO & CFO area, analyzing and evaluating organizational structures, business processes and procedures, associated risks and the control environment.
• Develop recommendations / corrective measures together with the business to improve the organization and operations. Monitoring the implementation of recommendations.
• Create transparent and complete audit service documentation, ensuring that Internal Audit standards are followed.
• Strengthen reliable and trustful cooperation with the business and audit clients.
• Support in delivering the audit plan.

Your profile

• Advanced degree in a quantitative field e.g Data Science, Computer Science, Economics or related area
• Several years of relevant professional experience in auditing or consulting in a commercial environment, in commodity markets or in risk management. Strong understanding of business, risk and governance landscapes.
• Proven project management experience, with a track record in driving data analytics initiatives as Product Owner, Business Analyst or Business Project Manager
• Experience in using data analytics and data science techniques in internal audits or similar role.
• Hands-on experience with Advanced Analytics i.e. predictive forecasting, Machine Learning (ML) and/or (generative) Artificial Intelligence (AI) solutions like LLMs would be an advantage.
• Familiarity with data governance principles and data management practices.
• Critical and analytical thinking, process-orientated and problem-solving skills. An entrepreneurial mindset, and professional curiosity. Passion for extracting insights from complex datasets.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills within an international environment. You can present and explain technical concepts to non-technical colleagues.
• Fluent in written and spoken English. German language skills would be a plus.
