Zusammenfassung

IMI plc is hiring an entry-level machinist to set up and operate various machines including CNC mills, CNC lathes, and manual equipment. You will perform basic setups, checks, and inspections to ensure quality parts while maintaining production flow and safety.

The role emphasizes learning, teamwork, and adherence to IMI Way principles in a collaborative onsite environment. Training and growth opportunities are provided.

• Recognize tooling wear problems.
• Follows proper operating procedures and maintains proper records in accordance with plant management system.
• Keeps work area clean and organized to ensure safety and environmental compliance.
• Follows all safety guidelines including utilization of proper PPE.
• Demonstrates positive relations and teamwork as established in the IMI Way.
• Other duties as assigned.

Role Overview

This is the first (entry) level of Machinists; in this role employee is able to alternately set up and operate more than one type of machine tool; such as CNC mills, CNC lathes, manual mills, manual lathes, grinders, etc in machining operations. Performs these functions in the completion of jobs that are moderate in complexity. Operates machinery and maintains setups where previous tooling, operation sequence, fixtures and attachments have been established.

Pay range: $22-25hr
