Jobtailor is seeking an experienced ML Research Engineer to advance our machine learning models and oversee their production performance. You will collaborate with researchers and engineers to design, implement, and maintain innovative solutions that drive efficiency in our ML pipelines.

Ideal candidates have a strong track record in applied research, hands-on RL or game theory expertise, and excellent leadership and communication skills, with a passion for games and problem solving.

Responsibilities

• Improve the performance of our machine learning models.
• Continuously oversee the performance of models in production and develop monitoring tools to gain deeper insights into areas for model performance enhancement.
• Collaborate with a team of researchers and engineers to design, implement and maintain innovative solutions to complex problems.
• Reduce the training and inference time of our ML pipeline.
• Drive projects and lead new initiatives in MLOps.

Qualifications

• Masters or PhD degree in Computer Science, a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Applied research experience with a successful track record of delivering quality results.
• Extensive expertise in machine learning, with in-depth, hands-on experience in reinforcement learning or game theory.
• Exceptional communication, cross discipline collaboration and leadership skills.
• Passion for games and how intelligent systems can teach humans problem solving skills.
