HII-Mission Technologies is seeking a Network Engineer Lead who designs, plans leads network engineering tasks and systems, providing specifications and detailed schematics for network architecture supporting USAFE-AFAFRICA/A6’s BlackNet Operations Center (BNOC)! This position provides specific, detailed information for hardware and software selection, implementation techniques, and tools for the most efficient solution to meet business needs, including present and future capacity requirements.
The Network Engineer Lead conducts testing of network systems and maintains technical expertise in all areas of network and computer hardware and software interconnection and interfacing, such as routers, switches, firewalls, hubs, bridges, gateways, and other network infrastructure components. This role will lead a team of network engineers in the operations and maintenance (O&M), network optimization, future integration for BlackNet operating locations. The Network Engineer Lead evaluates and reports on new network technologies to enhance capabilities of the network and supports the organization's mission‑critical operations.
