Zusammenfassung

Recovery Innovations seeks a Licensed Practical Nurse to join our behavioral health clinical team in Newark, DE. The LPN will work under an RN and provide patient care, monitoring and medication support within a multidisciplinary setting.

The role requires an accredited LPN program graduate with a current LPN license and at least one year of behavioral health experience. Strong documentation, communication and de-escalation abilities are essential to support recovery goals.

Qualifikationen

  • Minimum of one year of experience working in a behavioral health setting.
  • Knowledge of psychiatric medications and their indications, side effects, reactions and interactions.
  • Ability to work with agitated guests in crisis and their families to implement behavioral management interventions.
  • Basic computer skills.
  • Ability to pay close attention to detail.
  • Ability to problem solve.
  • Ability to communicate both verbally and in writing.
  • Effective listening skills.
  • Excellent clinical documentation skills.
  • Must be able to pass de‑escalation training.

  • Keeps abreast of all federal and state regulations and laws and all Recovery Innovations policies and procedures as they presently exist and as they change or are modified.
  • Cross Functional Collaboration: Provides support to Medical Assistants and other staff as needed, which includes treatment and discharge planning.
  • Additional Duties: Performs other related duties assigned.

Summary of Job

The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) position works under the supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN) and as part of a multi-disciplinary clinical team. The LPN position also identifies the need for medical attention and alerts the Physician and/or RN of medical concerns.

  • Must be at least 18 years old unless residing in a state where funder or government regulations set a different minimum age requirement.

  • Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality (HIPAA guidelines and regulations) and professionalism.
  • Successful complete and meet all requirements of the comprehensive credentialing process if applicable.

Physical Demands
