Responsibilities

1. Conduct teaching and examination duties in accordance with the applicable examination and study regulations for students.
2. Design and develop instructional materials to enhance student engagement.
3. Revise, design, and develop curricula for assigned modules, ensuring alignment with academic standards and learning outcomes.
4. Develop and set examinations or other assessment instruments, ensuring they are provided at least two weeks prior to semester end.
5. Grade assessments within deadlines and submit evaluated materials promptly.
6. Organize and facilitate inspection of written examinations or assessments.
7. Participate in teaching evaluations by completing and submitting evaluation sheets for each course.
8. Supervise student dissertations, providing guidance, feedback, and grading in line with academic standards.

Your Profile

Professional competencies

• PhD or PhD Candidate (in specific cases) with strong knowledge in Cyber Security, Information Security, Network Security, or Digital Forensics.
• Industry certifications such as CISSP, CEH, OSCP, CRISC, CCNA, and CCNP are highly recommended.
• Prior teaching experience at the university level.
• Proficiency in Windows OS, MS Office suite, and Microsoft Teams.
• Scientific publications in related disciplines.
• Fluent in English (C2 level); knowledge of German is desirable.
• Experience with educational platforms like Canvas or Blackboard.
• Knowledge of timetabling software and study regulations.
