Jobtailor in Germany is seeking a senior .NET engineer to lead modernization of a monolith to a microservices architecture, spanning legacy analysis to production release.

You will guide architecture with .NET 8, ASP.NET Core, and modern data stores, mentor the engineering team, and ensure delivery alignment with product goals, while maintaining strong delivery discipline.

Qualifikationen

• Solid .NET engineering background with deep expertise in C#, .NET 8, and ASP.NET Core.
• Deep understanding of web application architecture, REST APIs, microservices pattern, and message brokers (RabbitMQ).
• Database design experience with PostgreSQL, MS SQL Server, and Redis.
• Practical experience with legacy system modernization, monorepo-to-microservices refactoring, and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Ability to act as the technical escalation point for complex implementation, data migration, or performance issues.
• Proven experience managing engineering teams, including 1-on-1s, performance reviews, and objective evaluations.
• Strong delivery management track record, including Jira task tracking, process discipline, and predictable releases.
• Experience reviewing business specifications, assessing technical feasibility, and providing high-level estimates.
• Experience partnering with PM and Product to align engineering output with product goals.
