Zusammenfassung

TechMinds GmbH in Munich is looking for an experienced IT Infrastructure Specialist to design and maintain on-premise IT infrastructure while ensuring network security and performance. The ideal candidate has a strong background in enterprise networking and Linux server administration. You will enjoy flexible home-office options and have a role with high ownership and creative freedom. Strong problem-solving skills and scripting abilities are essential, alongside experience with Infrastructure-as-Code tools.

Qualifikationen

• Proven track record in building or transforming IT infrastructure.
• Deep expertise in enterprise networking, including WAN, LAN, VLANs, routing, switching, firewalls, and VPNs.
• Strong hands-on experience with server hardware assembly, configuration, and maintenance.
• Expert knowledge of storage systems including RAID, SAN, NAS, as well as backup and recovery solutions.
• Experience with Linux server administration and troubleshooting.
• Solid understanding of data center operations including power, cooling, and physical security.
• Hands-on experience provisioning and managing GPU infrastructure.
• Scripting skills in Python or Bash for automation.
• Experience with Infrastructure-as-Code tools such as Terraform and Ansible.
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills for complex hardware and network issues.
• Excellent documentation and communication skills.
• Self-motivated and able to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Aufgaben

• Design, implement, and maintain on-premise IT infrastructure including compute, storage, and networking.
• Perform capacity planning and develop and execute backup and disaster recovery strategies.
• Maintain comprehensive infrastructure documentation.
• Manage and monitor on-premise IT facilities including servers, cooling, power, and hardware.
• Design and provision storage as well as compute and GPU infrastructure for high-performance workloads such as ML and AI.
• Design and implement WAN, LAN, and WiFi network architectures with proper segmentation and security controls.
• Configure and manage enterprise networking equipment such as switches, routers, and load balancers.
• Deploy and manage Linux server infrastructure.
• Configure and deploy employee workstations across Linux, macOS, and Windows environments.
• Provide technical troubleshooting and support, managing user accounts with SSO.
• Establish and manage relationships with technology vendors, negotiate contracts, and coordinate with service providers.

• You establish and manage relationships with technology vendors, negotiate contracts, and coordinate with service providers such as ISPs and colocation partners
