Zusammenfassung

King's College London is seeking a Lead Analyst for a fixed-term secondment to 31 December 2027. The role focuses on delivering insight from diverse data sources and collaborating with analysts, BI developers and end users to produce impactful reports and visualisations.

You'll apply Power BI, SQL and Python across domains such as student, research, space, finance and workforce analytics, communicating outcomes to senior partners with clarity and actionable recommendations.

Key to executing on this vision is the Analytics team, who are focused on delivering insights and analysis to senior partners across King's. We're looking for a Lead Analyst to ensure we continue to enhance the value derived from our data assets throughout a period of parental leave. This is an excellent opportunity for someone seeking a secondment in a high performing Analytics team, working with some of the latest business intelligence (BI) technologies and playing a key role in innovative and high impact projects. The Lead Analyst's role is focused on delivering insight and analysis to senior partners across King's. Collaborating with other analysts, BI developers and end users across King's, you will use a range of techniques and tools across a variety of data sources to provide engaging and insightful reports and data visualisations across different domains including student, research, space, finance and workforce analytics. This is a full time post and you will be offered a fixed term contract until 31st December 2027.

Essential criteria
  • Able to extract, transform and combine a range of different types of data from a range of sources, using one or more of the following business intelligence/analysis tools and/or associated languages: Power BI, MS Fabric, SQL, DAX, Python
  • Able to deploy a range of techniques to analyse, interpret and problem solve using data
  • Able to model and visualise data to convey the outcome of analysis
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate the outcome of analysis verbally, in writing and via presentations. This includes translating complex technical requirements for non-specialist audiences.
  • Experience with working with a range of different stakeholders
  • Ability to manage own workload and work with minimal supervision
  • Attention to detail, accuracy, and completeness
  • A lifelong learner, open to new tasks, inquisitive and willing to challenge

Desirable criteria
  • Experience of managing data within the SITS:Vision Student records system
  • Knowledge of Power Automate
