Jobtailor is seeking an AI Architect to design and implement a company-wide AI roadmap, building scalable solutions and data architectures. You will integrate AI platforms, define governance standards, and collaborate with IT and AI teams to deploy AI-powered applications across core business processes.

The role emphasizes advisory, change management and hands-on development of RAG systems, data pipelines and secure architectures within a complex construction and engineering context.

• Develop and implement a company-wide AI roadmap — design scalable AI solutions and system architectures
• Select, evaluate and integrate suitable AI platforms and technologies
• Define standards for data, governance, security and compliance
• Develop intelligent applications together with our in-house IT colleagues and our AI team
• Build AI-powered solutions based on modern LLMs (e.g., Microsoft Copilot, Azure AI, OpenAI)
• Build RAG systems for accessing corporate knowledge
• Integrate AI into Microsoft 365, Teams, SharePoint, Outlook and other business applications
• Drive AI development at the interface with Revit, iTWO, Abacus and other software solutions
• Develop automations and agents to support our project teams and office operations
• Design and evolve data architectures for AI applications
• Develop ETL processes and data pipelines, and model vector databases and knowledge platforms
• Ensure data quality and data privacy
• Advisory & change management: advise our planners, procurement/tendering teams and site supervisors on AI use cases, including conducting workshops and training, developing best practices for productive AI use and supporting the company’s digital transformation

Requirements

• You have experience in artificial intelligence, data engineering or software development and are passionate about digital innovation.
• Modern AI technologies, data architectures and the integration of intelligent solutions into business processes are part of your expertise.
• You work analytically and independently and are able to explain technical topics in clear, understandable terms.
• You engage with our planning and delivery processes for (large-scale) construction projects and are genuinely curious about how AI can optimize these processes in architectural and engineering design.
