Proxima Fusion in Munich seeks a Lab Technician to turn early mechatronics concepts into functional prototypes. You will build and test mechanical and electromechanical prototypes, and develop fixtures, test setups and scalable assembly processes.

You will operate milling machines, lathes, and test stands, maintain workshop processes and calibration, and work with engineers to advance prototypes toward production in a fast-moving lab environment.

Proxima Fusion is hiring a Lab Technician in Munich, a mechatronics specialist or mechanical engineering technician, to turn early mechanical and electromechanical concepts into functional prototypes. You will build and test mechanical and electromechanical prototypes from early-stage design concepts, and carry out rapid prototyping and mechanical assembly trials. You will develop fixtures, test setups and scalable assembly processes, operate milling machines, lathes and test stands, and maintain workshop processes, tools, inventory and calibration. It suits technicians trained in machining, wiring, assembly and test stand technology.
