emplify GmbH in Germany is seeking a bus driver for a U.S. Army Europe and Africa assignment. The role requires operating a government non-tactical vehicle, transporting military and civilian personnel, and ensuring safety and compliance with regulations.
You must hold a German class D license and a US Forces Certificate of License, with CEFR A1 English and German proficiency. The position is a temporary full-time role (38.5 hours/week) with occasional TDY travel.

Operates busses with capacity of up to 53 passenger seats on scheduled and special short and long trips, on and off post, to transport military and civilian personnel; observes speed limits in various areas and on highways; operates doors to allow passengers to enter and leave the bus and controls the loading and unloading of passengers; assures the maximum capacity limit is observed and only authorized persons are transported; completes trip-tickets and preventative maintenance. Completes service records; fills out driver's accident report in cases of accident and reports any misbehavior of passengers on bus to supervisor. May occasionally drive other type and size vehicles for which qualified and licensed when required by the workload and upon direction of Supervisor or Director, Leisure Activities.
Independently performs regular and normal driver maintenance to include the changing of large and heavy tires in accordance with established rules, policies and regulations. Is responsible for the cleanliness of vehicle, including on-board WC.
Occasionally works as Motor Vehicle Dispatcher and dispatches drivers and vehicles and ensures that trip-tickets are properly prepared. Ensures that drivers perform operator maintenance and other similar duties.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Applicants must be in possession of a German driver's license class D.
Duties require operating a government non-tactical vehicle (NTV). Operating government vehicles requires the possession of a German driver's license, and the ability to obtain and maintain a US Forces Certificate of License.
LANGUAGE PROFICIENCY LEVEL:
English Language Proficiency Level A1 and German Language Proficiency Level A1 required.

This is a temporary full-time position (38.5 hrs /week) not to exceed 1 year/date of hire.
Occasionally temporary duty travel (TDY) required.
Rotating shift work (2 shift) is required.
Heavy lifting up to 45 lbs required.
