Awin is seeking a backend-focused engineer to join one of our cross-functional teams, contributing to scalable services built with Java and Spring Boot. You will enhance features, fix issues, and collaborate with experienced engineers to ship reliable software.

You'll work in a highly collaborative Agile environment, gain exposure to AWS, Kafka, Angular, and AI-assisted development tools, and participate in code reviews, testing, and CI practices.

Qualifikationen

• A degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a comparable field.
• Professional experience developing applications using Java and Spring Boot.
• Exposure to cloud development and AWS; understand REST APIs, databases, testing principles, and modern practices.
• Experience using Git and working in collaborative environments.
• Strong communication skills and fluency in English.

The Team

You’ll join our Billing & Payments Tribe , responsible for building and maintaining the systems that ensure customers are billed accurately and partners are paid on time.

We are a backend-focused engineering team , primarily developing services using Java and Spring Boot . Our broader technology ecosystem includes:

• SQL and NoSQL databases

This provides opportunities to collaborate across the full stack while deepening your backend engineering expertise.

Required Qualifications

• A degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering , or a comparable combination of education and practical training.
• Professional experience developing applications using Java and Spring Boot .
• Exposure to cloud development and infrastructure concepts, preferably on AWS .Understanding of:

  • Software testing principles
  • Modern software development practices
• Experience using Git and working in collaborative development environments.
• Strong communication skills and fluency in English .
