Zusammenfassung

Zalando SE is seeking a Junior Risk Manager to support the GR team in identifying and evaluating risks and opportunities as part of our six-monthly risk assessments. You will contribute to developing risk reports and help optimize the risk management system and business continuity management across the Zalando Group.

You will collaborate with diverse stakeholders and gain exposure to international processes, standards, and risk governance.

Qualifikationen

• Completed studies in Business Administration, Economics or similar field.
• First professional experience in a similar role, preferably international environment.
• Broad understanding of business processes (logistics, marketing, procurement, IT development) and knowledge of relevant standards.
• Proficient written and spoken German and English.
• Customer-centric approach with proactive improvement mindset.
• Active interest in market trends.

Aufgaben

• Support identification and evaluation of risks and opportunities for quarterly risk assessments.
• Assist in developing the risk report and maintaining the risk catalog with controls and countermeasures.
• Plan, prepare and support risk workshops for the Zalando Group.
• Contribute to risk analyses and preparation of risk reports for top management.
• Support improvements to the risk management system (RMS) and optimize BCM.

As a Junior Risk Manager of our GR team, you will support the identification and evaluation of risks and opportunities as part of our six-monthly risk assessments and will also support the ongoing development of our risk management and business continuity management. WHAT WE’D LOVE YOU TO DO (AND LOVE DOING)

You’ll work with various stakeholders to understand business context and risk relevant information, and contribute to developing the risk report.

• You’ll support the implementation of a solution and measure it against success criteria (e.g. customer feedback).
• You plan, prepare and support the risk workshops for the entire Zalando Group.
• You support in maintaining the risk catalog and the documentation of controls and countermeasures.
• You support in maintaining and conducting risk analysis.
• You support in preparation of risk reports for the Zalando top management.
• You support in improving the risk management system (RMS).
• You support in optimizing the Business Continuity Management (BCM).

WE’D LOVE TO MEET YOU IF

• You completed studies in Business Administration, Economics or a similar field.
• You already gained at least first professional experience in similar role, preferably working in an international environment.
• You have a broad understanding of business processes, i.e. logistics, marketing, procurement, IT development), as well as knowledge of practice-relevant standards such as IDW PS 981, ISO 31000, IDW PS 982 and ISO 22301.
• You have a proficient level of written and verbal skills in both German and English.
• You consistently demonstrate a customer centric approach and start to flag continuous improvements initiatives within your area.
• You take an active interest in market trends.
