IONITY seeks a hands-on Process Automation & Digitalisation Manager to simplify complex processes and translate ideas into practical, measurable solutions. You combine process thinking with technical curiosity, leveraging automation, AI and digital tools to create business value across Europe.

You will drive transformation in close collaboration with business stakeholders, building proof-of-concepts, coordinating implementation and embedding new ways of working in daily operations.

Qualifikationen

• 3–5 years of professional experience in Process Management, Digital Transformation, Operations Excellence, Business Analysis, automation or project management.
• Proven experience implementing process improvements or digital solutions, not only analysing or documenting them.
• Practical experience with at least one workflow automation, low-code, RPA or AI platform.
• Experience creating proof-of-concepts, prototypes or minimum viable solutions to validate ideas quickly.
• Ability to bridge business needs and technical implementation and to communicate effectively with both business and technology stakeholders.

You combine strong process thinking with technical curiosity and use automation, AI and digital tools to create measurable business value.

If you join us, you will drive transformation initiatives in close exchange with business stakeholders. With the goal to find improvement opportunities, optimize processes, and implement practical digital solutions. Rather than stopping at concepts or requirements, you will build and test proof‑of‑concepts, coordinate implementation and help embed new ways of working in daily operations.

You will be the bridge between business needs and the real implementation. Ensuring that ideas are translated into measurable results. Over time, you will take ownership of your own digitalization and AI initiatives to power every journey - fast, joyful and without limits across Europe.

Improve and Optimize Business Processes

• Analyse end-to-end processes across business functions and identify bottlenecks, manual work, control gaps and improvement potential.
• Challenge existing ways of working and develop pragmatic future-state processes with a focus on simplicity, scalability and measurable outcomes.
• Facilitate workshops to understand current ways of working and identify improvement opportunities.
• Create and maintain process documentation using BPMN standards.
• Develop practical and scalable solutions that improve efficiency, transparency, and collaboration.

Build and implement automation and digital solutions

• Design and build proof-of-concepts and prototypes using workflow automation, low-code, AI and other digital technologies.
• Translate business problems into practical solution concepts and rapidly validate them with users.
• Configure simple workflows, automations, digital assistants or reporting solutions independently where appropriate .
• Work with IT, data teams, vendors and implementation partners when solutions require enterprise architecture, integrations, security review or production support.
• Evaluate new tools and technologies based on business value, usability, scalability, risk and implementation effort.
• Turn successful prototypes into sustainable solutions with clear ownership, documentation and support models

Drive Transformation Projects

• Independently plan and deliver small to medium-sized cross-functional projects from initial problem definition through implementation and handover.
• Structure project activities, coordinate stakeholders, track progress, and proactively manage risks and dependencies.
• P repare fact-based decisions and elevate only where management input or trade‑offs are required .
• Contribute to larger strategic transformation initiatives as a work stream lead or subject‑matter expert

Drive Adoption and sustainable Change

• Support business teams throughout the implementation of new processes and solutions.
• Coordinate communication, training, and adoption activities.
• Establish clear process ownership, governance and documentation so improvements remain effective after project completion.
• Collect feedback, monitor adoption and continuously improve implemented solutions.
• Build trusted relationships across functions and act as a constructive challenger and implementation partner .

Your profile

• 3-5 years of professional experience in Process Management , Digital Transformation , Operations Excellence, Business Analysis, automation or project management .
• Proven experience implementing process improvements or digital solutions, not only analysing or documenting them.
• Practical experience with at least one workflow automation, low-code, RPA or AI platform, such as Microsoft Power Platform, Copilot Studio, SAP Build, UiPath, n8n, Make or a comparable solution.
• Experience creating proof‑of‑concepts, prototypes or minimum viable solutions to validate ideas quickly.
• Ability to bridge business needs and technical implementation and to communicate effectively with both business and technology stakeholders.
• Demonstrated ability to independently manage small to medium‑sized projects and deliver tangible results with limited supervision.
• Degree in Business Informatics, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, Information Systems, or a comparable field Strong project management and stakeholder management capabilities.
• Structured and analytical problem‑solving approach , combined with curiosity and a strong implementation mindset.
• Ability to bridge business requirements and implementation activities.
• Excellent English language skills, both written and spoken.

Nice to have

• Experience with process mining or process intelligence tools, such as Celonis or SAP S ignavio .
• Knowledge of APIs, data integration, SQL or basic scripting.
• Experience with SAP S/4HANA, Microsoft 365 or enterprise workflow environments.
• Lean Management or comparable continuous improvement training.
• Experience working in an international, fast‑growing or transformation‑oriented organisation .
