Unknown Fintech is seeking a (Junior) Mobile Developer to build and evolve a modern banking app for Android and iOS, in an agile team with flat hierarchies. You’ll collaborate closely with product, design and backend teams to ship features and refine architecture while keeping the stack current with CI/CD practices.

The role emphasizes German and English fluency, a CS-related degree, and hands-on experience with AI tools like Claude Code.

You Will:

• design and develop the client's Bank app for Android and iOS.
• plan and design future-proof API interfaces and actively contribute to the technical architecture and app concept.
• optimize performance, UI responsiveness, and the native look and feel of the app for a first-class user experience on both platforms.
• work closely with product owners, UX/UI designers, and backend developers to implement innovative features from idea to release.
• keep the tech stack continuously up-to-date by evaluating new mobile technologies and best practices such as CI/CD.
• ensure code quality through automated tests.

Requirements:

• A completed degree in computer science or a comparable field of study.
• Initial practical experience — ideally 1–2 years, e.g. through student work or internships
• Fluency in German and confidently in English.
• Familiar with agile development and ideally have initial experience with Scrum.
• You actively use AI tools in your daily development work and are open to trying out new tools like Claude Code.
