You will prototype, debug, design PCBs, select components, and collaborate with Embedded Software Engineers to ensure reliable integration. A practical mindset and CAD skills are essential.

Your mission

You will be actively involved in the entire hardware development cycle for Battery Charging Equipment, with a focus on prototyping and supporting the transition into serial production.

Responsibilities

• Prototyping & Debugging:Assembling and thoroughly debugging hardware prototypes.
• PCB Design:Drafting, designing, and optimizing PCB layouts for new functional modules.
• Component Selection:Evaluating and selecting suitable electronic and electromechanical components (e.g., connectors, cables, and functional assemblies) based on high-level system requirements.
• Integration:Integrating modules into the overall system in close collaboration with Embedded Software Development Engineers.
• Testing & Documentation:Defining, coordinating, and documenting End-of-Line testing procedures to ensure product reliability and quality.

Qualifications

• Education:A completed Bachelor’s degree or higher in Mechatronics Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a closely related field.
• Practical Background:Experience in prototyping hardware projects, including soldering, crimping, and 3D printing. A relevant apprenticeship completed prior to or alongside your studies is a plus.
• Technical Skills:Knowledge of PCB design and CAD layout tools. Experience in embedded software development is a plus.
• Work Style:An independent, structured, and proactive approach to work.
