Zusammenfassung

HyImpulse Technologies GmbH in Neuenstadt (Baden-Württemberg) seeks a hands-on accountant to manage day-to-day accounting for designated areas and assist in monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements under HGB.

You will perform reconciliations, process invoices, support VAT returns, asset accounting and intercompany transactions, and collaborate with cross-functional teams on finance projects; fluent German and English required.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree in accounting/finance or related field.
• Internships or first professional experience in finance or auditing.
• Solid understanding of accounting principles and processes.
• Knowledge of HGB; IFRS knowledge is a plus.
• Basic VAT and taxation knowledge.
• Strong affinity for systems, digital tools and process optimization.
• Experience with ERP systems is advantageous.
• Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel.
• Structured, detail-oriented, independent work with responsibility.
• Very good German and English language skills.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day accounting activities for designated business areas
• Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements in accordance with HGB (German GAAP)
• Perform account reconciliations and support the analysis of financial data
• Prepare and post customer invoices, supplier invoices and intercompany transactions
• Support VAT returns and tax reporting activities
• Manage fixed asset accounting
• Review and post bank transactions and credit card statements
• Assist with payment processing and cash management activities
• Process employee expense reports in accordance with company policies
• Support internal and external audit requests by providing documentation and analysis
• Participate in process optimization and continuous improvement initiatives
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and support finance projects

Basic Qualification

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or a comparable field
• Initial practical experience through internships, working student positions or first professional experience in finance, accounting or auditing
• Good understanding of accounting principles and financial processes
• Knowledge of HGB (German GAAP); IFRS knowledge is a plus
• Basic understanding of VAT and taxation topics
• Strong affinity for systems, digital tools and process optimization
• Experience with ERP systems is an advantage
• Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel
• Structured and reliable way of working with strong attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and take responsibility from an early stage
• Very good German and English language skills
