Enzo are working with a Financial Services organisation who are embarking on a Digital Euro testing and simulation programme.

They require a Senior Fullstack Java Developer to join them on a permanent or contract basis.

This role will focus on designing and delivering scalable backend systems and web applications to support Digital Euro testing tools and platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain core backend systems and web portals aligned to project requirements
• Lead end-to-end software engineering including development, testing, optimisation, and CI/CD implementation
• Provide technical leadership, mentoring, and oversight to ensure code quality and best practices
• Collaborate with stakeholders and external partners to support integrations and project delivery
• Produce high-quality deliverables including software builds, automated tests, and technical documentation

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Strong full-stack Java development experience using frameworks such as Spring Boot, Hibernate, or Micronaut
• Proven experience building RESTful APIs and microservices architectures with database integrations
• Experience with DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud technologies including Docker and Kubernetes
• Demonstrated experience working in Agile environments (Scrum, SAFe, or Kanban) with automated testing tools
• Hybrid – 2–3 days per week onsite in Frankfurt, Germany
