Zusammenfassung

Lexzau, Scharbau GmbH & Co. KG sucht eine erfahrene Netzwerk-Infrastruktur-Spezialistin bzw. -Spezialisten zur Gestaltung, Implementierung und Wartung der Konzernnetzwerkinfrastruktur an internationalen Standorten.

Sie administrieren LAN/WAN, VPN, WLAN, Cloud-Verbindungen in hybriden Umgebungen und übernehmen Monitoring, Fehleranalyse sowie Optimierung der Sicherheit. Zu den Aufgaben gehören Planung, Migrationen, Dokumentation, Notfallpläne und Zusammenarbeit mit externen Partnern.

Jobbeschreibung

Responsibilities

• Design, implementation, maintenance, and optimization of the corporate network infrastructure at international locations
• Administration, support, and optimization of LAN, WAN, Wi-Fi, and VPN infrastructures in on-premises, hybrid, and cloud-based network environments
• Management and troubleshooting in the areas of routing, switching, DNS, DHCP, network segmentation, and connectivity
  Administration and optimization of next-generation firewall solutions, including policy management, NAT, VPNs, and traffic analysis
• Monitoring of network performance, availability, capacity, and security using enterprise-wide monitoring platforms
  Analysis, troubleshooting, and resolution of complex network outages and performance issues in on-premises and cloud-based environments
• Implementation and maintenance of network security controls, including zero-trust principles, network segmentation, and secure remote access solutions
• Participation in the investigation of security incidents and assistance in addressing security vulnerabilities and threats
• Planning and execution of network infrastructure projects, migrations, upgrades, and technology rollouts
• Creating and maintaining technical documentation, network diagrams, operating procedures, and disaster recovery plans
• Continuously improving network reliability, security, automation, and operational efficiency
• Collaborating with external vendors, service providers, and technology partners

Qualifications

• Completed vocational training or a college degree in information technology, computer science, telecommunications, or a comparable qualification
• At least 5 years of professional experience in corporate network administration, network engineering, or network security
• In-depth knowledge of enterprise networks and security technologies, including TCP/IP, routing, switching, VLANs, DNS, DHCP, VPNs, dynamic routing protocols, and firewall solutions
• Solid understanding of network security principles, including Zero Trust, segmentation, attack detection and prevention, threat detection, and secure network architecture
• Experience with Microsoft Azure networking services and hybrid cloud environments
• Hands-on experience with network monitoring, log and traffic analysis, and troubleshooting tools
• Experience in vulnerability management, security hardening, and addressing security findings in the infrastructure is desirable
• Relevant, recognized certifications in networking, cloud technologies, and cybersecurity are a plus
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills, as well as the ability to solve complex technical problems
• Excellent communication and documentation skills
• A strong technical and service-oriented approach, as well as the ability to collaborate effectively in international teams
• Fluency in English; knowledge of German is a plus
