Neura Robotics in Metzingen, Germany, is seeking an IoT & Connectivity Engineer to own the bridge between the Neuraverse platform and robots and edge devices. You will design secure, scalable cloud networks and implement IaC for connectivity components, ensuring low-latency data flow and robust device health monitoring.

Overview

In the Software Department, you shape robotic solutions that redefine human–machine collaboration. You will work with cutting‑edge technology, contribute to solutions, and drive innovations in an agile, interdisciplinary team with clear Scrum processes. You will collaborate with other departments to create software solutions that are technically advanced and practically effective.

Your mission & responsibilities

• You own the connection between the Neuraverse platform and the world of robots and edge devices – from device connectivity through fleet management to cloud network architecture.
• Connect, onboard, and manage devices and fleets via AWS IoT Core and Greengrass.
• Design and operate secure, scalable cloud network architectures.
• Implement Infrastructure as Code for connectivity components.
• Take charge of monitoring connectivity and device health, resolving issues proactively.
• Collaborate with software and hardware teams on interfaces for reliable, low‑latency data flow.

What we can look forward to

• Experience with IoT platforms (AWS IoT Core/Greengrass or similar) and/or cloud networking.
• A solid networking foundation (TCP/IP, routing, firewalls).
• Experience with cloud network architecture and VPC design.
• Infrastructure as Code skills for networking/connectivity components.
• Proficiency in at least one scripting language (Go, Python or TypeScript).
• Experience monitoring connectivity and device health.
• Bonus: Transit Gateway, Direct Connect, site‑to‑site VPN, fleet management/device onboarding at scale, edge computing, low‑latency data flow.
• Strong English communication skills; German is a plus.
