The Exploration Company in Munich is seeking a Radiation Test and Automation Engineer to qualify electronic parts for the Nyx Avionics system. The role focuses on assembling radiation test PCBs, testing and debugging circuits, and supporting automation of test setups.

You will contribute to test reports and gain exposure to radiation effects on electronics, with opportunities to join test campaigns at the particle accelerator facility.

Qualifikationen

• Masters or Bachelor in electronic science or engineering, embedded systems or Physics.
• Hands-on soldering and debugging experience with electronics circuits.
• Basic knowledge of verification and validation of avionics and embedded software.
• Experience with Python for test automation and data visualization.
• Digital and analog electronic design knowledge.
• Experience with Altium Designer and LTSPICE is a plus.
• Basic understanding of space avionics is a plus.

Aufgaben

Key Responsibilities

In your capacity as a Radiation Test and Automation Engineer, your role will be continuously evolving, but day to day your duties will include:

• Assembly of radiation test PCBs for components to be tested
• Test of the assembled PCBs and debugging of circuits in the laboratory
• Soldering and adapting of parts if needed
• Automation of radiation test setups and test report generation
• Attending the radiation test campaign at the particle accelerator facility, if required
• Understanding the effects of radiation to electronic circuits and create comprehensive test reports

What we would love to see from you

In the role of Radiation Test and Automation Engineer ideally, you have collected some experience with the following:

• A masters/bachelor's degree in electronic science or engineering / Physics / embedded systems design
• Hands-on soldering and debugging experience of electronics circuits
• Basic knowledge of verification and validation of avionics and embedded software
• Experience with Python for test automation and control of devices and data visualization
• Digital and Analog Electronic Design Knowledge
• Experience with Altium Designer and LTSPICE or comparable software solutions is a plus
• Basic understanding of space avionics is a plus
