Zusammenfassung

Evonik Industries offers an internship in our central Process Technology organization. You will work in interdisciplinary teams, developing new processes and technologies and optimizing processes and production plants across business lines.

The internship is designed for students as part of their ongoing studies and may extend to a subsequent thesis project upon mutual agreement. The program lasts 4 to 6 months (6 months preferred) and is focused on process engineering disciplines, with

Qualifikationen

• Must be currently enrolled at a university for the entire internship period.
• Completed at least 120 ECTS credits in a Bachelor's program in science, engineering, or a related field.
• Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
• Strong German and English communication skills, both written and spoken.
• Strong teamwork and initiative and motivation.

Aufgaben

• Process Modeling, Thermodynamics and Reaction Engineering, including catalysis and process simulation
• Process and Separation Technologies, with a focus on fluid process engineering, mechanical separation, and membrane processes
• Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) for the design, analysis, and optimization of process engineering systems
• Particle and Polymer Technology, including particle design, formulation development, and product optimization
• Process Analytics, Automation and Advanced Process Control for monitoring and optimizing industrial processes
• Electrochemical Processes and Energy Technologies, with a focus on electro-organic synthesis and battery research
• Sustainable Process Development and Operational Excellence, including circular processes, sustainability assessment, and process improvement using Lean Six Sigma methodologies

Requirements

• Current enrollment at a university throughout the entire internship period and at least 120 ECTS credits completed in a Bachelor's program in science, engineering, or a related field
• Sound knowledge of, or a strong interest in, at least one of the technical disciplines listed above
• Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
• Strong German and English communication skills, both written and spoken
• Strong teamwork and communication skills, combined with a high level of initiative, responsibility, and motivation
